Airtight Solutions is a company specialising in air permeability testing of domestic dwellings. Based in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire we are able to service the whole of Northern England and can offer services nationwide using sub-contractors where necessary.
Airtight Solutions is a registered member of the British Institute of Non Destructive Testing (BINDT), approved by building control to carry out formal air permeability testing and as a result provide certification to the required ATTMA “TS1” standard. Our technicians have attended the BINDT approved testing course and use UKAS calibrated equipment as standard.
With over 10 years experience in the building industry, we understand the needs of the developer as well as the necessity to conform to building regulations. We believe our wealth of experience in conjunction with a flexible “partnership” approach allows us to offer a simple yet efficient and reliable service whilst ensuring regulations are achieved effectively.
We pride ourselves on our service and therefore will conduct a brief dwelling examination, giving a degree of consultancy prior to testing. Should any dwelling “fail” we offer the first re-test free of charge providing remedial work can be carried out within 1 hour of the initial test. If a dwelling fails a re-test, our technician will give advice on problem areas before negotiating a further fee and later date if needed. We can offer various flexible working hours including weekends to suit your needs and causing minimal disruption on site.

We are committed to ensuring the health, safety and welfare of Airtight Solutions employees, whilst also fully accepting our responsibility for the safety of other persons who may be affected by our activities, as far as is reasonably practical.
